Mean density of Aplysia californica at PISCO study sites in the bays of Monterey (Cannery and McAbee) and Carmel (Stillwater) from 1999 to 2018. Density calculated using count data from six 30 × 2 m swath transects, two each at depths of 20, 12.5, and 5 m (360 m2 total), surveyed once annually during the summer.
